  1. Very nice colours. Very effective image. I love the crinkly edges of the petals,
    Have you blurred the the left and right edges in pp? It seems the focus is in the form of circle rather than across a horizontal plane.

  2. I didn’t blur the edges. I used both extension tubes (which Canon don’t recommend due to potential ‘focus issues’ , crikey) so I knew there would be some drop off. I was aiming for a blurred wash of colour with a narrow focus on the mid petal edges but it didn’t quite work out. The lack of detail on the top left still bothers me but I live and learn ;)
