Synonyms: Horsebane. Dead Tongue. Five-Fingered Root. Water Lovage. Yellow Water Dropwort.
It smells of parsley and has the same flower-head but the Hemlock Water Dropwort (Oenanthe crocata) is also one of Britain's most poisonous plants, dangerous to both humans and animals. Apparently no British wild plant has been responsible for more fatal accidents.
I should add that although I'm sure this is the Hemlock Water Dropwort, I'm no expert and my opinion should not be relied upon, especially when it comes to poisonous plants. Always refer to a reputable source.

Lol, we could play photo snap! “Down on the Farm”,”Tractor engines and Water Power”, and I just took a very similar picture but of Cow Parsley rather than Dropwort. Maybe I’ll post it next.
