This year, our local lavender field had a rocky start with unexpected frost damage and the arrival of the Rosemary Beetle but things are looking up now. This year, they've planted three types of lavender; Folgate, Grosso and Maillette - it's starting to smell wonderful and the lavender fudge is gorgeous.
