7-spot ladybird (Coccinella septempunctata) on Banstead Downs. This is the most common British ladybird, despite a massive reduction in numbers since 1998 and at 6-8mm long, is one of the largest British ladybirds. The little blighter just wouldn't keep still, so his body is a little blurred.
