Large White (Pieris brassicae) or Cabbage White as it's also known here, being partial to a bit of the green stuff. I remember these fluttering around my grandfather's vegetable garden, chomping on his cabbages but he didn't seem to mind. "Everything has its place", he said.

It's *still* raining here and the same is forecast for the weekend. Whatever happened to Summer?
