Male Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum). Another one from last Sunday.

Several weeks ago I was bemoaning the fact that, due to the wet weather, there wasn't a dragonfly to be had for love nor money. Now suddenly, they're everywhere. When I set out on my walk today, I was determined to shoot something else but there they were, again. I took my macro this time so, hopefully, the next shots will be a little different and I'll intersperse the dragon ones with others ... just in case anyone is getting fed up the dragon shots ;) I still haven't taken one that I'm happy with yet, though.
