Good news - Mum came home today :) She doesn't know that her prognosis is 'poor' or that her day to day care is palliative. My Sis and I will take it in turns to stay the night until we all get used to this new way of living.

I took my cats for their annual jabs yesterday and found out that my other cat now has a heart problem (the other one already has chronic renal failure). Both cats are knocking on a bit so it's not totally unexpected. However, I'm about ready to punch life on the nose anytime soon :)
