Young Least Weasel (Mustela nivalis).

Although I quite like the original, I decided on a crop before entering my camera club's DPI competition yesterday. My partner thought the crop unwise but I prefer it. I think it brings out more of the weasel's features and accentuates its habitat, complete with bug and plants. I was rather astonished to receive 10/10 for this, along with 10/10 for my second entry but it was the weasel that won a certificate. Yesterday was a good day.

I should mention that our club has two groups. Group A is for RPS members and those with a proven track record. Being a new member, I'm in Group B. Thinking about it, maybe I should have cropped a little more off the top.
