The sun shone last weekend and despite the chilly wind, Spring was definitely in the air so I visited Coombe Wood to see what there was to see. Not a lot, as it happens. The beds were prepared but it's still a tad early for most of the plants. There were sparse carpets of croci and snowdrops and surprisingly, a few huge, fuzzy bees; the type of which one normally sees in High Summer. Talking of Spring, I'm having a clear out of the shots languishing on my computer and uploading the ones I decide to keep. This one was taken at Coombe Wood in August 2008.
